Barkcloth Artwork and Other ItemsBarkcloth is a unique traditional Ugandan craft. In a long and strenuous process, the inner bark of the Mutuba tree is beaten with different types of wooden mallets to make its texture soft and fine and give it an even color.

Our table mats are handmade from banana fiber and fiber of the raffia palm tree. Each set includes one table runner and six placements and are available in a variety of style and colors.

Change Purses
Change purses are made from banana fiber and palm leaves. Our purses are made by women of the Butooro tribe in the town of Fort Portal in Western Uganda.
