Baskets

Baskets are handmade from banana fiber, millet straw, and raffia palm fiber and are available in a variety of styles, sizes and patterns. 

Handbags

Our handbags are made from banana fiber, palm leaves, and fiber of the raffia palm tree. 

Jewelry

We sell jewelry made from a variety of unique materials, including shells, stone, and paper beads. 

Barkcloth Artwork and Other Items

Barkcloth is a unique traditional Ugandan craft.  In a long and strenuous process, the inner bark of the Mutuba tree is beaten with different types of wooden mallets to make its texture soft and fine and give it an even color. 

Batik and Other Artwork

Batik is a type of dyed fabric that is produced by a lengthy process.  We sell a variety of batik and other types of artwork suitable for hanging on your wall.

Greeting Cards

We have hand drawn greeting cards for sale.

Table Mats

Our table mats are handmade from banana fiber and fiber of the raffia palm tree. Each set includes one table runner and six placements and are available in a variety of style and colors.

Change Purses

Change purses are made from banana fiber and palm leaves.  Our purses are made by women of the Butooro tribe in the town of Fort Portal in Western Uganda. 

Toys and Other Items

A variety of handmade toys such as stuffed animals, rattles, and baby mobiles are available.
