Our handbags are made from banana fiber, palm leaves, and fiber of the raffia palm tree.  Each handbag usually takes two full days to make.  Making crafts such as handbags is a way for women in Uganda to make money to sustain their families.  Our handbags are made by women in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.
